The structure of the toner cartridge and its categorization will be different for different brands or different printers used, a general toner cartridge (all-in-one) will basically include the following components, while a split toner cartridge (also known as drum and powder separation cartridge) is only the following parts of the components.
Drum core: formed by coating the surface of an aluminum cylinder with a photosensitive and conductive semiconductor material, it is the heart of the toner cartridge, with other components centered on it. After charging, exposure, and development, a visual toner image is formed on the surface.
Toner: is directly melted on the print media attachment, different models of toner can not be universal.
Toner Bin: A warehouse used to contain toner, some bins have an agitator inside to ensure that the toner is supplied smoothly.
Waste Powder Bin: A warehouse used to contain waste powder. The toner image formed on the surface of the photoconductor can not be 100% transferred to the print media, will remain on the surface of the photoconductor part of the next image before the cleaning squeegee to scrape it down, collected in the waste powder bin.
Cleaning scraper: leaning on the photoconductor, the photoconductor surface is not transferred to the residual toner cleaning off, cleaning scraper by the metal frame and polyurethane scraper composition.
Powder Discharge Knife: It is composed of metal frame and polyester scraper. It evenly controls the amount of toner on the surface of the stick and makes the toner friction charged.
Charge Roller: Eliminates residual potential on the photoconductor drum and is responsible for the cylinder consisting of a metal shaft and conductive rubber.
Magnetic Roller: consists of a magnetic core and sleeve and its accessories. In the developing process, it attracts the toner to its surface, and under the control of the discharge knife, it forms a toner layer of a specific thickness and causes the toner to carry a certain amount of friction charge. Through the role of the magnetic roller on the development of bias pressure, so that the charged toner "jump".
Transfer roller: transfer roller is located on the other side of the print paper, because it is applied with the toner electrical opposite voltage, so that the photoconductor drum on the toner transferred to the paper.
Developer Roller: Constructed of a metal shaft and conductive rubber, its function is to adsorb the toner, make it electrically charged, and transfer it to the surface of the photoconductor drum to produce a visible image.
