Reason: Impurities or sticky rubber adheres to the primary charge roller; the primary charge roller is broken. Solution: Clean the primary charge roller; replace it.

The manuscript writing is regularly illegible.

Reason:The OPC drum or primary charge roller surface coating is polluted (e.g., watermark, oil print, fingerprint, etc.). Solution:There are multiple blank pages.

The whole manuscript is illegible.

Reason:The paper is damp; the transcription roller is dirty or aged; the doctor blade edge is aged; the magnetic roller or primary charge roller is worn; the OPC drum is fatigue; the toner is poor. Solution:Dry the paper; clean or replace the transcription roller; 3–6 replace.

Toner leaks (there are irregular vertical dark spots on the printed manuscript).

Reason:The anti-leakage blade is wrinkled or deformed. Solution:Correct or replace the blade.

Vertically void in letter (it is vertically void in letter on the printed manuscript).

Reason:The laser is partially blocked or the magnetic roller is covered by foreign matters; the reflector is dirty or transcription components are defective; the magnetic roller coating or the doctor blade is defective; there are impurities on the magnetic roller, or the magnetic roller coating is worn. Solution:Check the protection cover refraction rod or clean the magnetic roller cover; clean the reflector; replace the magnetic roller or doctor blade.

Horizontally void in letter (it is horizontally void in letter on the printed manuscript).

Reason:The OPC drum coating or drum gear is defective; the magnetic roller cover, magnetic roller coating, protection cover and bias contact point are defective; the transcription roller is defective; there is a problem with the high-voltage power supply. Solution:Replace the drum; check and replace or clean the bias contact point; replace the transcription roller; repair the high-voltage power supply.

Vertical strips (there are vertical continuous or discontinuous strips on the printed manuscript).

Reason:The wipe blade has a gap or there are obvious scratches on the OPC drum; the doctor blade is aged; the corona wire or the primary charge roller is dirty; the upper fixing roller is defective; there is much toner on the magnetic roller. Solution:Replace the wipe blade or the OPC drum; replace the doctor blade; clean the corona wire or the primary charge roller; check the upper fixing roller; adjust the clearance between the doctor blade and the magnetic roller felt.

Horizontal strips (there are horizontal continuous or discontinuous strips on the printed manuscript).

Reason:The toner bin and the waste toner bin cannot collaborate properly; the contact between the OPC drum and the printer grounding circuit is poor; the printer high-voltage power supply or scanning component is defective. Solution:Reassemble; check the contact between the OPC drum and the printer grounding circuit; clean the printer high-voltage power supply contact point; check the scanning component.

Black page (the whole printed manuscript is black).

Reason:The corona wire is broken; the primary charge roller is not assembled or not assembled properly; the contact between the conductive rack or conductive steel sheet of the primary charge roller is poor. Solution:Replace the corona wire; reassemble the primary charge roller; reassemble the conductive rack or conductive steel sheet of the primary charge roller and check the conductive contact point inside the machine.

White page (the whole printed manuscript is white).

Reason:The scanner, reflector and transcription component are problematic; the protection cover is unopened, the conductive steel sheet of the magnetic roller and the conductive metal wire of the machine do not contact each other;The OPC drum gear is loose. Solution:Check the scanner, reflector and transcription component; take out the toner bin and reinstall it, make sure the protection cover is totally open, and the contact between the conductive steel sheet of the magnetic roller and the conductive metal wire of the machine is good; replace the OPC drum.
